Tony Lio is a singer-songwriter\/multi-instrumentalist living in New Jersey who has created an entirely unique musical personality. In his more than a decade of composing music he\u2019s been a genuine genre chameleon, deftly blending influences from alternative rock, indie, grunge and soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lio taught himself guitar as a child and developed his musicianship through formal jazz studies, turning personal progress into primal sound strength. An introvert and a stutterer, he quickly learnt how to take the personal and make it into real anthems of acceptance. \u201cNyx\u201d was one of many standout releases that proved his ability to turn real-life vulnerability into a sympathetic art form, paving the way for his best work to date.
Tony Lio is back with his latest single, \u201cImperfect,\u201d an entrancing alternative rock record that blends atmospheric indie folk and cinematic pop soundscapes. The organic acoustic basis of the tune supports driving, expressive alternative rock energy and the song achieves a wonderful blend of room-toned warmth and vast, dreamlike spatial depth.
